what are the applications of cognitive implants that control body functions?
and i don't mean that conspiracy crap about the government controlling your thoughts. I'm taking implants that allow conscious control things like body temperature, hormone production, the metabolism, etc.
p.s. yes this another "straight out of my ass" question, but I'm still curious.
im not talking probability of existence, and i understand your concern, but what im talking about are applications of conciously controlling allof your bodily functions.

The technology of such is still a ways off thank goodness. We're talking a micro super computer as all those functions of which you speak are brain related. And you would have to bypass the brain plus have some sort of link. We just don't have the miniaturization yet.
