
I have 4 months to lose weight and I was thinking to kick start this transformation, I would detoxify my body?
for the 1st 2 weeks. only drinking water and when I do get hungry, eat an apple or something but drink mainly water, somewhat like a fast. I want to lose about 30 pounds by July because I want to wear a 2 piece bikini (for the 1st time in my life) is there anything else I should know before I start my journey?

sounds like you have it under control!! im doin tha same thing..but make sure you get all your food groups not just fruit, also no fast food and no alcohol., also no cokes they r the worst.... hope u can do it...gosh i hope i can too! good luck to both of us!

Detox diets don’t work, neither does starving yourself. You should watch helpful doses of BBC America’s You Are What You Eat, and Discovery Health’s X-Weighted. They all prove with hard evidence that the key to losing weight is eating healthy, fueling your metabolism, and doing a bunch of squats. If you want to lose 30 lbs. in a few months, the easiest way to “detox” is to eat 5 small meals of fruits and veggies, with white meat chicken or fish in between. Protein shakes and no sugar should do it. Don’t forget to add in a few crunches in the morning and at night for an extra metabolism boost.
Starving yourself is not the way to go. Just watch what you eat going on a lowcarb diet is the best way to lose weight fast. Do not eat anymore than 65 carbs a day and watch your fat intake. My suggestion is go to Barnes & Nobel and pick up a carb counting book and keep it with you at all times. Do not drink regular sodas IF you must drink sodas make sure they are diet. I lost quite a bit of weight on a low carb diet.

Do not only drink water for 2 weeks with no food, you will not be able to continue on you diet because your mood will drop. If you have any public places to be during that week i suggest taking time off of work or school or whatever because you will barely be able to walk or focus on what you doing if your going to have zero nutrition in your body.
Yes up the amount of water you drink by ATON, i drink like 9-10 glasses a day.
If you want a quick start only eat fruit for breakfast and cut your calories way down to just fruits and vegetables and lean protein, than after you loose the first 10 which come off the easiest (i know from experience) find a plan and stick to it and then 1-2 pounds will come off a week, which is the healthiest way to keep weight off. Like me, i eat every 3 hours, only fruit for breakfast, but i have alot, grapes strawberrys and a banana, then i have a snack of raw fruits or vegetables 3 hours after breakfast, than after my snack i wait 3 hours and have lunch, i do slimfast because i love chocolate so i eat their meal bars, hate the shakes but with the meal bars i dont feel like i’m missing out on my sweet tooth and i get to actually chew food instead of chugging a gross bottle of a processed shake. Then for dinner do meatsk like chicken, about the serving size of a deck of cards than fill the rest of your plate with a little starch and a ton of vegetables. You dont have to starve to loose weight, just change WHAT you eat.
Plus you’ve gotta excersize, not even insanely just 30 minutes a day of WHATEVER, and if your gonna be trying to hop into a two peice bathing suit do sit ups every night, i’m on my way there and i never thought it was possible. I weighed almost 160 and was 5’6 tall, i stuck to the plan above and am down to 127, i’ve gone from a size 13 to a 5, i never thought i could do it but i’m living proof, you’ll get into that two peice soon enough!
