i've been reading alot of twist magazines and they always say like body shapes and what clothes and pants r good 4 u. how can ppl tell?

They ask their friends how they look. You can’t do this on your own because you will be biased. It’s why anorexics think they’re fat when, in fact, they aren’t.
It’s really just a visual thing. You’re considered an apple shape if you’re fat is stored around your stomach and boobs. You’re considered a pear shape if your hips are the largest part of your body, and the top half of you (stomach, shoulders, boobs) are all much small. If you’re an hourglass you’re hips and shoulders are proportioned. Magazines often make out that an hourglass figure is a heavy one, and while this sometimes is the case, it has nothing to do with weight! Those are the main ones, but they are also more specific categories, like ruler (straight up and down, no curves.)
when looking in a long mirror Curvy your body should resemble a coca cola bottle (Kim Kardashian), petite-your 5′ft tall and under (Jada Pinkett), Long and lean would be from 5’7 and taller and your skinny as in if you have a body like Chanel Iman. Athletic your very muscular (Madonna)
its kinda hard but in my opinion
curvy is when u have big hips while the rest of ur body is a little more smaller.
petite is when ur shorter than average
long and lean is when ur extremely tall but skinny
athletic is when u have musles and not chicken legs (so gross)
ur whole body might not be athletic. for example i have athletic legs but im weak in the upper body (i suk at core >_<) cuz i do sports that works ur legs more than the upper body.
