How can I make my wardrobe make my body shape look better?

Okay so, this year I want to look even BETTER than last year. I already have my hairstyle down, so I was just wondering about the link between body shape and outfits. I am short, with a reasonably pretty upper body. My legs are kind of thick, and I want my clothes to take eyes away from that. Any ideas?

Wear skinny jean, so baggy things dont make them look bigger, or sweat pants and people will think its the sweat pants that are just thick.
Tight shirts. Wear eyeliner and mascara. I put my eyeliner on the inner part of my lash line so its closer to my eye, it looks better that way but when people try to do that they poke their eye! eye just like press my fingers and hold them under my eye so have more control. For the mascara i put it on the top and bottom lashes and i rotate the brush so it doesnt clump. instead of just rubbing it on the lash

wear shirts with patterns, frills, v neck and lots of color to draw attention upward. Avoid capris and tight pants as they will make u look fat and even shorter.

For thick legs: i know u cant totally change it but yoga and swimming help LOADS
